Education Dear Home School Parents: The Mobile International Festival is happy to have home school groups/families attend the event. Our mission is education. Our members/volunteers showcase over 70 different countries and cultures from around the world. Family Day is Saturday, November 20, from 10a.m. - 5: 00p.m. When coming on Saturday with your home school family and friends, MIF will provide you with the following experiences: • You can spend the whole day on Saturday. There is no time limit as there is on Student Days. • There are different entertainment and activities on Saturday like the Parade of Flags and more guest performing artists on three stages not seen during Student Days. • Admission costs allow visitors to everything except food. There will be over 30 food booths in two areas this year, Main Arena and Expo Hall. You can purchase your food with cash on Saturday. Tokens from past festivals will also be accepted. • Saturday Family Day – Be a Pirate for the day! We will have a treasure map for everyone to enjoy. This will enhance map reading skills and orientation. • International
Festival Patch – Incentive to explore one of our countries
during your class time and before coming to the festival. Requirements
may be requested by contacting Mobile International Festival office. If I can be of further assistance, please contact me at mif.education@cityofmobile.org or (251) 470-7730. Sincerely,
Please contact Bobbie Bayne or Betty Willett at (251) 470-7730 or via email at either: bobbiemif@yahoo.com or mif.education@cityofmobile.org for additional information.
