| Mobile International Festival Scout Patch |
The Mobile International Festival is proud to continue offering a ‘FUN’ patch to all of the Scouts who attend our festival and fulfill the requirements before and while they are attending the festival.
The requirements are as follows:
Before the festival adopt a country from our website: www.mobileinternationalfestival.org
A. Learn an activity from that
country: dance/game/song
B. Does this country have Girl Scouts? (Remember Girl Scouting is world-wide.)
C. Learn how to prepare a food dish from that country – discuss
why you like or dislike the food.
(Hint: Try something other than Chinese or Mexican.)
At the festival:
D. Complete your passport from all of countries while attending the Mobile
International Festival.
E. Sample food from another country.
F. Talk to someone from one of the cultural booths and ask them about
a game played by children in their country. How is it played? What are
the rules? Do we have a similar game?
G. Listen to a song from another country.
We will be selling the patches at the festival for $1.25 upon completion of the requirements. Troop Leaders may purchase the patches at the MIF World Bazaar Booth. Remember we are using an honor system that your scouts have completed requirements for the patch!
